Not long now!

The packing is underway in earnest!  We're in countdown mode until we arrive in our new town.  We've set up a rental house for 6 months (please let that be enough time to finish) and we take possession of our new place in just a few weeks.

I'm not naive enough to think this is going to be 'fun', but having done one fixer-upper already, I think we're semi-prepared for the work to come.  Of course, the 1870's era may have many,  many surprises in store for us.  (Hopefully none of them are alive, ie: raccoons, or un-alive, ie: ghosts).

There is certainly some work to do because, although I am a fan of some of the wall paper in this house, I don't think much of it will survive the reno.

Whaddya think?

Seriously, the tree wallpaper is to-tally awesome, but I think it's days are numbered due to minor things like wiring and insulating.  booo!
