Brotherhood of the Elk

Well, at least, that's who I imagine enjoying this light fixture.  It's currently in our dining room, but could be in YOUR home!  Just say the word...


In other mundane-news: I filled out forms for my child's 'pizza day' tonight.  Oh my god... I'm such a MOM!  And there's a Terry Fox themed school assembly tomorrow morning wherein the JK's will be presenting something (?) on the subject of  'courage'.  Parents are invited to attend.  Do I dare?  Will it be awesome, or super-painful?  And is 'awesome' and 'super-painful' the exact same thing in this case?

    I am kind of horrified by the contrast between the old medallion and the ?70s fixture. It's actually almost mesmerizing...
