Just got back from an full day of fun at the Po-Ho annual fair. Great, great, great. We rode rides, ate ice cream, fed goats and watch dog agility trials.
Sarah, Rob and Baby Evy were along for the day and the kids enjoyed themselves. Well... Sammy is more of a fair observer than participant, but he quietly enjoyed himself. Charley is a full-fledged participant and we will have to buy him a pre-purchased all-you-can-ride bracelet next year to be economical. He loved it and would surely have stayed another 4 hours.
He laughed so hard at the dog agility trials, namely the dogs running through the little tunnels, that he almost threw up. He will talk about this day for a long, long time.
Here are a few moments captured for your amusement:
The theme.
Corn Cob Bob; Charley took 5 minutes to get this close to him.
JUST happy enough...
Do I need to tell you about Charley's joy at this moment?
Ditto here.
Evy made me laugh here... She was the only person watching an acoustic guitar player and heartily applauded him. Hi-larious.
Charley takes to the skies.
Sam, being deprived his daily nap, has a quiet moment on the family's other massive noggin.
I wish I had a soundtrack for this experience. Can you tell that Charley was howling with laughter?
Pony ride time. I love Rob's multi-tasking here.
Not to be outdone...
Yee-haw!
That all for this year. Is it wrong that I'm alread looking forward to next year?? For all you Ottawans, the Metcalfe Fair (another great one) is on this year the Oct. 1st weekend. Enjoy!
