Please allow me to break your hearts

Scene:  Playground of school.  4 year old boy arrives for the first-ever day of school.  Notices some of his peers crying and hugging their moms.

Boy:  "Mommy?"

Mother:  "Yes, sweets?"

Boy:  "I think I'm nervous".


I get him back in one hour.  It's been a long day for me... hopefully not for him.
