Christmas came early

So, remember waaay back when I co-wrote a tiny piece with Chris for Esquire?  It kind of started as a joke, and ended up being one of the stories that people really responded to.  And it was picked up by more international editions of Esquire than anything else he's ever written.  I mean, really?  He's written National Magazine award winning stories!  Twice!  And this is what the (foreign) masses want to read?!

Well, I won't complain.  Because Chris gets paid for foreign pick-ups and because I take the credit for that story being hi-lar-ious, I thought it appropriate to appropriate some of the aforementioned funds.

I have a new baby!

Okay, so it's a camera, not a human or puppy.  My first, non-point-and-shoot digital camera.  I think it's a wise purchase seeing that I take photos nearly every day of my life.  And when I see the quality of the pictures that Emily (and others) take with their SLR's I get really covetous.

Until now!

I charged up the battery and wanted to take some amazing, award-winning shots, but the only subjects I had were two boys, indoors, at the tail end of their long days.

Still, I think new-camera captured their laziness/disdain better than old-camera ever did.

There you go.  Same old, same old, now brought to you in hi-def.  Enjoy.

I know I will.  (Thanks Esquire.  smooooooooooch)

  1. Nice work! Are you gonna become a regular (and by regular, I mean hi-lar-i-ous) contributor? also, way to re-invest in your communication equipment. (Business expense!)
