You know those days in Canadian winter when there's new snow, bright sun and it's not all that cold? That's a sparkle day. Today was one of those days.
Sammy was back at pre-school this morning (hooray end of break!) and Charley and I had one more morning together before he goes back tomorrow. We took Kismet out for a river ramble and, because Charley now insists he's big enough to take charge of Kismet's leash duty, I had my hands free for photo ops.
These are apologetically 'arty-farty', as my mom would say. It was hard to resist the glimmer though... it's like my version of a Tiffany's shopping trip.
Just me, my mutt and my kids. Out absorbing vitamin D and crunching a fresh path through the snow. I think I might actually miss him tomorrow!
