Sweet new addition to the family, school, pre-school, a sad, snubbed husband , social speech therapy (this entails trying to teach Charley the art of communicating with his peers beyond his preferred 'go away and leave me alone' mantra), Sam cranky from nap abandonment, Kismet's return from "bad camp", parents-in-law visit, continued renovations, etc.
Oh, and Sam doesn't let me use the computer anymore. He specifically learned to use the touch pad on the computer so that he could watch this video 100 times a day. No exaggeration.
And the boys have discovered Star Wars (in print, not video) and have 72 questions a day about 'good guys' and 'bad guys' and why the Ewoks look like our dog. (I thought I had years to go before I had to deal with Star Wars!)
I battle my way to the bathtime-bedtime opus, after a day of groceries, therapy, pick-ups, drop-offs, raking leaves and general hoopla. I get to see some pretty cute bums, so that's something. I purposefully black and white-d these photos because I can't handle the ugly rental bathroom in colour. Especially since the kids used bath crayons in the tub. They may never come off.
So, like I said, no excuse for the delay... Just your regular family life. Or, at least, our regular.
