We're here! Moved into our dream house on Friday and have much left to do. We still don't have fully functional bathrooms or kitchen and there are boxes and bags piled up as high as you can see.
Still, we decided to prioritize the boys rooms so that they had nice places to sleep. Lots of decorating and stuff to add to their spaces, but big-boy Charley has his promised bunk beds! We set them up without him seeing and then called him up to his room.
I felt a great dose of nostalgia setting up the beds... They were my bed, with sister Sarah and my dad's and uncle's beds before that. The boys love them, but I told them no sleeping in the top bunk until they can figure out how to get up and down by themselves!

great bunk bed! if the lower bunk occupant uses their feet to push on the top bunk, does the top bunk occupant get a shriek-worthy jolt? If the top bunk occupant does a good fart, does the lower bunk occupant enjoy good acoustics? Important bunk bed questions...
