Charley really, reeeeally enjoys the ol' classic from Sir Alice Cooper, except that he stumbles when he gets to the part in the song where the kids sing 'no more pencils, no more books...'. He had to re-write that part, because a world without books is his idea of living a nightmare. His version, sung in that classically shrill Charley-voice was something like "no more pencils, aaaand some books, bring them home from school, if your teacher lets youuuuuuu".
You get the idea.
He is quite happy to be into his summer break and has spent some quality face-time with his ol' pals today. I'm talking about trains here, but I assume you know that.
That last, long walk yesterday morning.
One more time at his desk.
Basking in the teacher love. He won't miss school, but he'll sure miss these two.
And then, after school, come home, strip, get really wet and then wear a popped beach ball on your head. Hey! Why not!?
