On the weekend we went up to Ben and Kristin's for a 'farewell-to-summer', fun-fest. They are pretty great to host our big gang, when you consider there's a new baby and toddler keeping them busy.
We went swimming, had a BBQ, played soccer, roasted marshmallows and finished off with some fireworks. It was a seriously epic night for the kiddies.

Let us stop for a moment, and gaze upon the awesomeness that is my new nephew, Owen James, aka The Juice. He is just over 2 months old and 16 lbs of adorable. So, so smooshy cute.

The reactions to the fireworks were awesome. It was all 'more! more! more!' as long as they could protect their wee ears!
