Sometimes Hallowe'en is COLD here in the north, and so what might suit as a costume for a party, won't work for the chilly trick or treatin'. This was a particularly cold and wet year, so I'm fortunate that my wise children chose their own ways to keep warm on the 31st. They clearly take after their mother in terms of misery = being cold.
Here you are. The going-to-a-party costumes, followed by the modified trick-or-treating outfits:
Yeah, the strong-man would have been a bit cold going house-to-house. But he sure looks gooooooooood!
Oh yes. A train. SURPRISE!! Hey, at least it's not the same one from the last 4 years.
Trick-or-treat! Ready to go in the rain and cold. The back-up hat and last-minute beard on Charley made him look like on of the Village People. Sam was very happy to be 'scaaaaary' and wanted to keep the makeup on for school the next day.
Fun, as always. Lots of candy thrown out, as always. I mean, rockets? Come on! What's the point? If it's made of dye and sugar, it's in the bin. Just don't tell these two, or I'll be in big trouble.
