Grey Friday

It's not Black Friday here in Canada-Land, but it is a very grey day.  Winter sucks, and you can't convince me otherwise.  Leaving extra time for dressing the kids and scraping the car is more than my rushed self can handle on school mornings.

I was driving home along the lakeshore this morn and caught a glimpse of the stormy-skied view and almost drove off the road.  I rushed home, picked up the camera, went and got Sam from pre-school and then raced back to the lake.  Luckily, it was still looking pretty dramatic.

I mean, COME ON! That is a ridiculous sky!  It was even worth braving the lakeside winds to capture it. 

Winter is terrible, but at least our new town affords some seasonal drama while we freeze.
