Retro Christmas

My mom's Christmas present from my lovely daddy is a slide scanner, so the 1000's and 1000's of slides we have can finally be digitized and, thus, blog-able.

I am a huge fan of old photos and seeing these pictures, most for the first time in years, is like a present all in itself.

Here are shots from 2 different Christmases.  I love seeing the old toys and the old house.  Seems my parents had their struggles with plaster too.  haha... I know the feeling, now!

Sorry to little Emily, who hadn't quite joined the family yet. (Which makes them both pre-1983).  Does everyone have photos like this?  I'm sure the same shot exists in millions of households.

It's nice to feel seasonal nostalgia when both your kids are sick in bed.  Sigh.  Charley missed his last day of school today, thus missing his class party.  Poor boob.  There's still time to be healthy before Friday!!  STILL TIME, I say!!!
