Pure evil

Do you know this game? Mousetrap? I coveted it as a child, but never received it as a gift. My local second hand store sells all toys 50 cents a pound (woot!) so I fulfilled my childhood needs and bought it for Charley.

Even at 63 cents (or whatever it worked out to...) it was far, far too much to pay. The promise of marble-driven action is but a pipe dream, my friends! A farce! A pull-your-hair-out mockery!

For some damnable reason, Charley thinks it's the 'best game ever' and insists on setting it up a few times a week. Chris and I both run and hide when we see him coming down the hall with the box in hand.

Don't ever be fooled into thinking that Mousetrap is a good investment. It's not.

(Do they still make it? For all I know the version I have is 20 years old.)
