Actually wept

Got to the house the other day, to check and make sure the windows were closed after the workers left, and had a quick moment to look around at the progress.  I had some tears looking at the rooms forming.  Drywall may not float your boat, but it's about the best present I've ever had.

Seeing walls makes me realize that it's really going to be a house.  Soon.  That I get to live in.

Cannot wait for that day.

Supplies at the ready for the boys.  Sam's room awaits!

They sign their work in mud behind the walls.  Love that.

Remember the maids room, with all the crazy paper on the walls?  Here it is today.

 Guest bathroom taking shape.

Looking out the window at some cedar awaiting roof application.  Busy inside and out!  (Also give you an idea how much taller our house is than every other house in the neighbourhood!)

And some of the copper trim for the roof details.  It's all about the house bling!

Whether you be in Ontario or B.C. or Montana or Florida or California or Wales, I promise that you that you will hear me cheer the day I move into the place.
