Big O!

My sweet new nephew, Owen James, was born on Monday morning.  He weighed in at 10 lb 5 oz, which makes his lovely mother my new hero.

Everyone is doing well and I wish the whole family sleep and peace and ease.  (It could happen!)

Here's a picture of Ben, aka Daddy, on his birthday.  I think there's a little similarity there, don't you?  At least, the giant hands are the same!

Wherein children jump, sweat and laugh.

 This first photo included to show exactly how adorable my niece is.  Every time I see Evy, she's just a bit cuter than the last time.

 At one point, I watched as Evy kicked herself in the middle of the back.  That's hard to do! 

Considering she's such a pip-squeak, she can sure rough-house with the best of them.  It's a testament to the couch manufacturer that these kind of activities have been going on for a while, and still no visible damage.  (Knocking on wood as I type).

Evy's sibling is due to come along anytime now.  I can't even wait!  I think it's a boy, but a girl would be great too.  I'm going to try and attend the event, but may need approval from the expectant couple.  C'mon!  I'll be ever so useful! 

I'll write cheers! 
I'll serve beers! 
I'll wipe away exhausted tears!
I'll alleviate delivery fears!
